Took this picture from the plane today, somewhere between Washington D.C. and Huntsville, Alabama. The setting sun was attempting to peek out from behind this gigantic thunderhead. We were at 20,000 feet and climbing and yet this colossal shadow was casting darkness over all that could be seen below. In in unrelated news, I just finished reading the book "Ender's Game" and think a lot more people should check it out, especially with the number of young servicemen and women who are fighting for our country's ideals in foreign lands.
