I require proof
Are US presidents allowed to wear ties that are not blue or red? I don't think I've ever seen Obama in a green tie, or a purple tie. Please send me a link HERE
UPDATE: Thanks to Adam's partially completed Ivy League education, he has been able to come up with the following:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/10/obamas-first-50-days-in-t_n_173195.html
Obama is not exactly a "green" president. Maybe this is a direct fashion attack against the nations of Bangladesh, Brazil, Jamaica, Libya, Macau, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, and Zambia. We don't exaclty have fantastic relations with most of those countries. Oh wait, we don't exactly have fantastic relations with any country.

Confusion settles in
Most rental cars these days have keyless entry with a chunky remote
that is required for your keychain. Why is it that EVERY rental car I
get has all of the spare remotes and keys permanently attached to the
keyring? Thank you Hertz, now I have to bring along a Sherpa just to
haul my ridicuously large keychain about town. Brilliant.

Hockey & Home for the Weekend
I went to Boston on Thursday night for the Bruins/Ducks game. The Bruins played with less intensity and skill than the 8 year olds who scrimmaged inbetween the periods and ended up losing 6-1. Complete blowout. Oh well, the seats were pretty awesome and at least we had a good time after the game.
On Friday morning I rode the motorcycle from Boston to Albany as the temperature and precipitation began to fall. I was nearly frozen stiff by the time I got to Albany, but recovered in the car as Ang and I whisked west to the homeland. Saturday was gorgeous after some early morning clouds and Ang took these pictures on Cayuga Lake from the dock.

Tech Update!
You may now all sigh in relief: I have finally gotten around to updating this blog so now you don't need the "www" prefix. Sorry it took so long.
In other news, I enjoy reading the comics on xkcd.com. Some of them are a bit over my head with the programming stuff, but still quite amusing.
One lap around the United Kingdom
For two weeks in August I traveled around England and Scotland playing tourist on a fantastic summer holiday. The weather was mostly good and I covered a lot of territory on my rental bike. I wrote up a report detailing the adventure (See the report HERE) and gave it to my grandparents so they could see what I had been up to. For my more tech savvy family, I've posted it to the SOAK (Source Of All Knowledge) for everyone to enjoy. I have hundreds upon hundreds of pictures which, eventually, I will get around to posting. Side note: It is really cool that my grandparents and I can communicate via email, that's a bold new step. Makes me wonder how I will communicate with my grandchildren and how difficult it will be for me to learn and keep up with.
